Summer creative writing

Summer is a great time for getting students creative writing.

My classes love the freedom that creative writing gives them. Their voices have space.  Allowing them lots of choice in what they are writing is great as well.

 

I love this "loyalty card" activity. Students complete the tasks and earn points towards a free homework. 





Writing is a great way to develop students' vocabulary. This activity helps develop nuanced vocabulary for creating shades of colour.

Free writing is great too!
